Job Description As a Design Engineer at Bosch Rexroth, you will be an integral part of our design office in Sydney and Brisbane, working collaboratively with a dynamic team. Your primary responsibility will be to create innovative concept and detail designs, contributing to the development of complete project design documentation for both internal and external clients. Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring operational and cost efficiencies, maintaining high-quality and safety standards, and meeting customer delivery deadlines. Specific Tasks: Utilize CAD packages such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and Creo for design and drafting. Generate comprehensive project documentation using Microsoft Office applications. Collaborate with engineering and sales teams, as well as customers, to translate sketches, existing drawings, and verbal descriptions into detailed drawings and bills of material. Work closely with various departments to ensure accuracy and clarity in drawings, minimizing errors. Interpret and apply Australian and International Standards to designs, while following corporate drawing standards. Operate within a Systems Engineering and Quality Assurance framework. Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring efficient project delivery. Engage in effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Take ownership of delivering project outcomes within specified timelines.
