Shopfitter Supervisor Role
A leading provider of retail & hospitality shopfitting solutions seeks a skilled Shopfitter Supervisor to join its dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and mentor a team of craftsmen, ensuring high-quality workmanship and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day running of the factory, guaranteeing projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the required standards.
* Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support a team of skilled craftsmen, including joiners, apprentices, and general labourers.
* Production Scheduling: Collaborate with design and project teams to ensure timely project delivery, coordinating with other departments as necessary.
* Quality Control: Ensure all joinery work meets company standards before dispatch.
* Health & Safety: Promote and enforce health and safety standards in the workplace, adhering to relevant regulations.
* Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and proper use of machinery and tools, arranging repairs when needed.
* Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain materials and stock levels, placing orders as required.
* Problem Solving: Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them swiftly.
Requirements:
* Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience in a Lead Shopfitter or Foreman/supervisory role within the retail/hospitality shopfitting industry.
* Strong understanding: Processes, materials, and modern production techniques.
* Leadership skills: Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
* Health & Safety knowledge: Strong understanding of regulations in a workshop environment.
* Time management: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Note: A background in expo and shopfitting is highly desirable.
