Skills and experience in business services (tax and accounting for companies, trusts and individuals) would also be highly regarded, but is not a requirement.

In this role you will:
1. Collaborate with our team of professionals, contributing to a culture of excellence and teamwork in delivering client solutions.
2. Stay up-to-date with the latest superannuation and accounting regulations and ensure compliance across all client accounts.
3. Manage and maintain SMSF accounts for clients.
4. Prepare and lodge SMSF returns and associated reports.
5. Provide expert advice on superannuation matters to clients.
6. Assist self-directed clients in understanding the superannuation regulations so they can manage their retirement planning and investment strategies.
7. Liaise with auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders as required.
What you bring:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. CPA or CA qualification preferred.
3. Proven expertise in SMSF accounting with strong technical knowledge of applicable regulations and compliance. Minimum of 5 years' experience.
4. Excellent communication skills, including over the phone and via email, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
5. High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Proficient in BGL (preferably) and Microsoft Office Suite.
