The Role
Based in the Finance team, the Billing Administrator is primarily responsible for a range of key functions relating to the firm's main partnership. Responsibilities include:
6. Data entry and maintenance of existing client and matter information within the practice management system
7. Provide billing support to the Firm’s billing professionals and legal secretaries
8. Assistance with the raising of pre bills when required
9. Maintenance of pro bono and complimentary matters in the practice management system
10. Uploading of invoices into client online billing portals
11. Management of billing support inbox
12. Maintenance of client and matter rates in the practice management system
13. User maintenance within the practice management system.
The Candidate
Ideally you will have, 2 years’ experience with office systems and computerised processes.
Experience in a professional services firm (preferably law) whilst not essential, is highly desirable. In addition, you will have:
14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
15. Data entry and/or maintenance experience preferable
16. Able to display tact and diplomacy whilst dealing with sensitive financial issues to achieve a desirable outcome
17. Able to work with minimal supervision and as a team member
18. Organised, pro-active with a high sense of confidentiality and discretion
19. Competent knowledge of Excel and Practice Management software
20. Previous exposure to Aderant/Expert is highly desirable.
