LiSEC Technician Location: Melbourne, VIC About the Role The Lisec Technician plays a crucial role in the installation, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting of Lisec machinery. This position ensures that all machinery operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. The primary focus is on identifying and eliminating the root causes of operational failures and enhancing equipment performance. This role is part of the Maintenance Division and reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. Key Responsibilities Work, Health, Safety, and Environment Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct risk assessments on production processes and equipment. Process Management Oversee Lisec project installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on both manual and automated systems. Improve equipment reliability and support ongoing enhancement projects. Collaborate with Production Managers to maximize equipment availability. Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance schedules. Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and participate in the Major Incident Investigation (MII) process. Performance Indicators Efficient identification and resolution of equipment failures. Improved equipment reliability and performance. Adherence to quality policies and procedures. Accurate maintenance of spare stock transactions and adherence to stock level parameters. Essential Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience with Lisec equipment and 5+ years in the glass industry. Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, Automation, or Mechatronics). Strong planning, problem-solving, and Root Cause Analysis skills. Proficiency in MS Office, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Experience with IT/Networking, SAP, or MEX systems.
