Your new role
* Are you a Senior/Associate/Lead Mechanical Engineer looking for your next challenge?
* You will be expected to lead a small team of Mechanical Engineers.
* Exhibit a high level of technical expertise, oversight and guidance to ensure the successful completion of projects.
* Engage in mechanical engineering encompassing tasks such as heat load calculations, equipment and reticulation sizing and selection, as well as co-ordination and documentation for building structures.
* Manage small, medium and large-sized projects throughout their entire lifecycle. An abundance of complex projects to challenge and upskill your technical ability.
* Handling mechanical design for various building projects, including generating reports, conducting studies, performing design calculations, creating drawings and specifying requirements.
* You will have the opportunity to thrive in a client-facing role with the ability to develop business. Act as a representative for the company, managing client relationships.
* Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels to ensure project success.
* Lead and mentor junior colleagues, offering guidance and education to enhance their ability.
What you'll need to succeed
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
* Australian experience is essential - ideally known to the Adelaide market.
* Building services design consultancy experience is required.
* Successful track record in leading others.
* Great stakeholder management is essential. Display commitment to establishing and nurturing client relationships to foster repeat business opportunities.
* Time management and prioritisation skills to juggle multiple projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
* Embrace a positive can-do attitude, work effectively within the team and uphold a robust work ethic.
* Passion and motivation to add value and thrive in a leading, global design consultancy.
