AWS Services strive to be the best in our industry and our greatest asset is the incredible team that we have formed.HR Functions (outside of recruitment processes): Assist employees with enquires and coordinate with payroll if requiredComplete and document performance reviews, pay increases, disciplinary matters and terminations in line with legislative requirementsParticipating in the implementation of improved systems, compliance, and information managementRecruitment Functions Working with Senior Management to create job descriptions, manage the hiring channels and candidate process, including selection and onboarding of all roles in our teamConduct and assist in interviews for new hiresContracts and employee forms generation and administrationManage the onboarding process including developing and maintaining of employee filesManage the people lifecycle from onboarding through to offboarding including initial screening through to exit interviewsPerform background/reference checksCulture Promote and encourage personal growth and effective communicationLive and breathe employee value internally and externallyUnderstand and support policies and procedures of the organisation Continually contribute to and support the team, including Directors, Leadership, management and all team membersTraining and Development Onboarding of new staff to their roles and assisting with Assist in maintaining training program and schedule to ensure aligns with developmental plans Other Support and deliver ad hoc duties when necessary by management Answering general office phone calls Qualifications and Experience: Degree qualified in Human ResourcesMinimum 2 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the construction industry but not necessary.Knowledge of the Australian Fair Work award system The maturity to work with a widely varied workforce including blue collar, white collar, international and local personnelPrevious experience/exposure to onboarding personnel, with a strong focus on Health and SafetyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organised with superior attention to detailAbility to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet timelinesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPro-active, flexible, reliable and willing attitude Please note due to the sensitive and confidential information of the role and our projects, this role is only office based.
