Quality Assurance & Control (Construction)
Hardings Group is a locally owned civil construction company on the North West Coast of Tasmania offering road/civil construction, asphalt and bituminous surfacing, linemarking, and asphalt production services.
Hardings Group is currently seeking expressions of interest for the position of Quality Assurance Advisor. This is a full-time position based out of our Ulverstone depot. The Quality Assurance Advisor will work across all divisions in the company and play a critical role in maintaining high-quality standards across all activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing quality assurance plans for construction projects.
* Ensuring that construction materials, processes, and workmanship adhere to industry standards and project specifications.
* Conducting inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality requirements.
* Identifying and addressing any quality-related issues promptly.
* Providing training and support to staff regarding quality control measures.
* Reporting findings to project management and recommending corrective actions.
* Promoting health and safety practices on-site.
* Ensuring compliance with quality standards and environmental regulations.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry quality standards and regulations.
* Communicating and consulting with internal and external stakeholders.
* Engaging in and supporting strategic initiatives rolled out in the business.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Technical aptitude with the ability to review and interpret quality control principles and application.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to establish work priorities and meet deadlines.
* Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
* Commitment to ongoing learning and development.
* A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
* Experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within the Construction Industry.
