$90 per hour Monday - Friday day (6.30am to 6.30pm)
$100 per hour Monday - Saturday afterhours (after 6.30pm Monday to Friday or Saturday) $178 per hour on a Sunday + other penalties apply for overtime, on call etc.! Commencing October 2024 Fully furnished housing provided Return travel within Australia provided Comprehensive support provided throughout your contract, from our dedicated recruitment team Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be working for an independent Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Service who are committed to securing quality health care services across the East Arnhem and enabling Yolŋu powered community health and wellbeing. They strive to provide culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary healthcare to over 6,000 remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents across 3 East Arnhem wards. You will be working in the East Arnhem Land part of the Northern Territory. As part of your role as Remote Area Nurse you will mentor students and Aboriginal Health Practitioners (AHPs), support AHPs as the primary health carers within the community, and work to build stronger communities together with the wider team.Essential Criteria AHPRA registration with no restrictions NT Working with Children's Check Current National Police Check REC Certificate and/or ALS Certificate; current accredited immunisation certificated recognised in the NT; Remote Therapeutic Certificate (or equivalent) Current Manual Driver's License At least (3) years of post-graduate experience with advanced clinical skills and competencies applicable to remote settings (including the ability to triage, work independently, and participate in afterhours emergency calls and first response) Thorough understanding of, and commitment to, Aboriginal Community Control, self-determination, and the issues faced by Yolŋu people living in remote setting Willing to travel in small charter planes, and the ability to drive a 4WD will be looked upon favourably.
