Job Description Reporting to the DC Supervisor and/or the DC Team Leader, The DC Team Member is responsible for the daily DC operations including picking, unloading, loading and counting products with a continual focus on Safety, Service, Cost and Team Position Responsibilities Ensure that all incidents/injuries, near misses and hazards are reported in a timely manner to the Warehouse Manager/State Operations Manager. Handle products in line with safety and handling induction and training. Adhere to WH&S policies and procedures Responsible for ensuring all relevant Safe Working Practices (SWPs) in accordance with the National Safety Plan Ensure the right training and processes are in place to minimise incidents/injuries. Process stock received into the warehouse as per company procedures. Transfer stock to designated storage areas as per company procedures Pick stock to picking lanes as per company procedure. Conduct Cycle Counts. Perform any suitable duties as requested by Supervisors or Managers in other areas of the business including but not limited to cleaning, receiving, returns, dispatch and administration. Work as part of a dynamic Team to build better and safer procedures. Build positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Ensure good housekeeping including cleaning floors, racking etc. Use of mechanical handling equipment with appropriate training and licences Ensure accuracy of the product against picking instructions to ensure the customer gets what they ordered. Looking up missing parts Wrapping of stock. Cleaning products Testing units Sorting work floor for the day Putting stock away Stock Investigation Booking in purchase orders of consignment stock
