About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Manager to lead the Specialist Clinics within Alfred Brain. This role is an integral part of the Alfred Brain nursing management team, overseeing clinical operations, patient access, workforce management, and service improvement initiatives. The position is crucial in aligning the clinics with Alfred Health's strategic goals while ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the operational and clinical functions of Alfred Brain's Specialist Clinics. Drive workforce planning, recruitment, and retention strategies for nursing staff. Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery. Oversee financial management, ensuring efficient resource allocation and budget adherence. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient flow and clinical outcomes. Manage clinical risk, safety, and compliance with national healthcare standards. Foster a culture of continuous professional development, research, and innovation. About You You are a proactive and innovative leader with strong clinical expertise and a passion for improving patient outcomes. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are skilled in managing complex healthcare services.
Registered Nurse with AHPRA. Tertiary qualification in healthcare or business management (or working towards). Extensive clinical nursing experience in a relevant specialty.
