About the Role:
Our Support Office at Toowoomba is looking for a Finance Business Partner! This individual will partner with the operational management team of the business, providing financial leadership, reporting and support to Regional and Branch management personnel across RDO Equipment Pty Ltd (RDO Equipment).
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:
* Reporting and Analysis of Financial Information, including business trends, key drivers and variance analysis.
* Conduct monthly business reviews with Branch management.
* Preparation of business cases to support operational decision making at the Branch level.
* Assist Branches with providing relevant information for the annual budget and reforecasting processes as required.
* Participate and provide ongoing support in training to improve the financial acumen of our operations team.
* Visit each assigned Branch once per quarter to provide onsite support to the management team.
* Build relationships with all Branch Managers and their teams, providing analytical support for decision making.
* Support the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager with ad hoc project, tasks and analysis as required.
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
* Experience in providing financial support to operational teams.
* Advanced MS Office skills, with a high degree of confidence in MS Excel.
* Strong financial acumen, including the analysis and interpretation of financial data, identifying trends and key business drivers
* Ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to people of all levels of financial literacy
* CA/CPA Qualified
* Prior experience in the Heavy Machinery Industry or Dealerships would be highly regarded
