About the Role
As the Ecommerce Specialist, you will oversee and manage all of the retailer's e-commerce channels, including third-party marketplaces. You will also lead the team in maximizing online sales, enhancing the websites, and delivering customers an exceptional online shopping experience.
Key responsibilities
1. Oversee daily operations of e-commerce sites (Shopify and third-party marketplaces) ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
2. Implement, test, and manage new site features and integrations, addressing technical issues promptly.
3. Maintain accurate and compelling website content, including product descriptions, images, and pricing.
4. Manage inventory, coordinating with the warehouse to update stock levels and release out-of-stock products.
5. Use online analytics tools and market research to identify growth opportunities and trends.
6. Continuously analyze site performance to enhance conversion rates, customer retention, and revenue.
7. Plan and execute email campaigns, managing subscriber lists, and analyzing performance.
8. Implement segmentation and A/B testing to optimize email effectiveness and drive sales revenue.
9. Work closely with the marketing team to keep websites updated with fresh content, including product images and banners.
10. Communicate with team members regarding new product arrivals and marketplace updates.
Ideal Candidate
11. 2+ years of experience in managing Shopify e-commerce platform.
12. Knowledge of Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms is preferred.
13. Must possess strong analytics and reporting skills, with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
14. Strong knowledge of the e-commerce market and marketing strategies.
15. Preferred experience in the footwear, apparel, or consumer goods industries.
16. A degree in Marketing (BSc or MSc) or a relevant field is highly desirable
