The Role:
Lendlease ACT have an opportunity for a Site Manager to join our team and manage the delivery of a soon to commence project in Canberra.
Based on site, you will take ownership of the construction site, managing and mentoring a team of Supervisors across all major trade packages. You will work closely with our site and project engineers to pre-empt and resolve construction issues, as well as being responsible for project planning, site-based procurement, managing subcontractors, and taking ownership of safety and compliance.
Essential Criteria:
4. Be an Australian Citizen at time of application.
5. Hold a Negative Vetting 2 Security Clearance or have the ability to obtain.
6. Previous experience as a Site Manager with a reputable company, along with relevant trade and/or Building Construction qualifications.
7. Demonstrated experience delivering major building, and/or infrastructure projects safely, to high quality standards and within project budget.
8. Strong communications, leadership and influencing skills, all key when dealing with several internal and external stakeholders.
9. A methodical, and detail-oriented approach, with strong planning skills.
10. A passion for safety, and ability to drive compliance with safety processes onsite.
11. Be a self-starter and take ownership of your project.
