Job Description Lifting supervisors appointed for tower or mobile cranes at the worksites must complete the Lifting Supervisors Safety Course conducted by an accredited training provider. Review and advise the lifting plan. Observe, coordinate, and supervise all lifting activities in accordance with the Lifting Plan. Brief all lifting team members (i.e., crane operators, riggers, and signalmen) on the Lifting Plan, risk control measures, and safe lifting procedures before the commencement of any lifting operation. Ensure that only registered crane operators, appointed riggers, and appointed signalmen participate in any lifting operation involving the use of mobile and tower cranes. Ensure that the ground conditions are safe for any lifting operation to be performed by mobile cranes. Be present during all lifting operations to take suitable measures when unsafe conditions are reported and rectify the conditions so that the lifting operation can be conducted safely. Contribute to the execution of risk assessment, job safety analysis, safety procedures/checklist, safety records, and documentation. Conduct daily safety audits on all lifting equipment, gears, and devices. Prior to lifting, check the capacity of lifting equipment, gears, devices, grounds, surrounding areas, overhead obstructions, and weather conditions. Job Requirements At least 3 years of experience as a lifting supervisor. Experience and knowledge in heavy lifting. Adaptable to a fast-paced work environment, able to work under pressure, and finish assigned work on time. Excellent written and communication skills, able to interact with people of all levels and work in a team. Obtained Lifting Supervisors Safety Course and Work-At-Height Certificate. #J-18808-Ljbffr
