You'll also work directly with successful PE backers who will engage you in all finance matters. All of this combines to provide you with genuine career growth and development as you take the lead role in Finance.

What You'll Do:
You will be the lead person in Finance and provide hands-on support across various areas as well as providing strategic insight into financial operations and performance.
As you embed yourself into this position, you will bring both financial and non-financial leadership to your role. You will partner with and be a critical member of the Senior Leadership Team. Your business acumen and management skills will afford you a key seat at the table regarding the direction, performance, and on-going growth of this business.
The essential areas you will work across are can be summarized as follows:
1. Financial Reporting: financial statements, IFRS compliance, board reporting
2. Budgets & Forecast: work with the MD on budgets, create long term forecasts, and monitor performance v actuals.
3. Financial Analysis: costs analysis, financial modelling for strategic decisions, KPI reporting, profitability, assess investment and growth opportunities, and work with owners to provide guidance.
4. Systems: assess for efficiencies and stay updated with advancements in financial management tools.
5. Others: cash flow management, manage external relationships, risk identification & mitigation, tax requirements, and monitor financial exposures.
In the first month you'll be expected to get to know the people across the business, visit different locations to immerse yourself in what they do, assess month-end processes, work with the existing team to fully understand the systems, and work with board reporting.

From a qualification / skills perspective you must be a fully qualified accountant with strong Excel capability - financial modelling skills are an absolute must have.

Interview Process:
Shortlisting for this position commences Monday July 15th, with direct client interviews commencing w/c Monday July 29th. This recruitment process will be a multi-stage interview process, including a Financial Modelling case study, psychometric testing, video interviews with the PE backers and on-site interviews in Hervey Bay (travel assistance provided).
