The Funding and Revenue Branch is the policy arm of the Finance Division, requiring professionals in administrative, policy, and financial roles to work under the leadership of our directors.
We offer corporate experience for policy, operational, administrative, or financial officers looking to add depth to their resume.
Ours is a high-profile role with opportunities to engage directly with external stakeholders, including industry, representative groups, and ministers.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver cost recovery services and advice
* Provide external budgets and costing support
* Engage on financial matters within portfolios
* Administer levies policy and functions
Assistant Director Roles
* Finance Transformation: Assist the Director in delivering the Financial Management Transformation Action Plan, focusing on Capability Building, Financial Governance, and Financial Architecture
* External Budgets: Oversee budget estimates and systems, developing Portfolio Budget Statements and Additional Estimates Statements
* Cost Recovery: Collaborate to manage and improve cost recovery arrangements in exports or imports
* Business Analyst and Financial Modeler: Develop a bottom-up activity-based cost model providing assurance over cost recovery arrangements
* Finance Portfolio Engagement: Engage stakeholders across the Department and portfolio entities using knowledge of the Commonwealth Budget process
