If you have the technical skills and experience to manage a diverse claims portfolio, we want to hear from you!Role Overview: As a Claims Consultant or Senior Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accident and health claims. You will work closely with key clients and external stakeholders to ensure claims are processed efficiently and in line with service standards. Your role will involve conducting thorough investigations, evaluating coverage and liability, and driving timely claims resolution for an optimal customer experience.Key Responsibilities:Champion exceptional customer service and provide professional advice to internal and external stakeholders.Manage a portfolio of accident and health claims, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.Conduct thorough investigations, gather relevant information, and make informed decisions regarding claim settlements.Build and develop business relationships with key customers and contribute to team engagement plans.For Senior Claims Consultants: Guide and assist Consultants who require specialist technical assistance and support the Team Leader in driving key claims initiatives.Office Hours:Fulltime business hours; 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - FridayFlexible Work Arrangements:We offer hybrid working arrangements and flexible work arrangements (FWAs), subject to initial performance and successful completion of the probationary period. Typically, the first four weeks are office-based to ensure comprehensive training and integration into the team. Following this period, we will consider work-from-home (WFH) arrangements to provide a balanced and flexible work environment.Mandatory Technical Skills/Experience Required:Claims experience in Accident and Health (A&H) and/or similar cross-transferable industries.Ability to build and develop business relationships with key customers.Compliance with relevant GICOP requirements and regulatory legislations.Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and customer service skills.Commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous learning.For Senior Claims Consultants: Minimum two years of claims experience and the ability to act as an escalated technical reference point.Desirable Qualifications:ANZIIF Certificate in General Insurance claims or AQF Diploma in General Insurance or industry equivalent.Previous experience as a Claims Consultant in the Group Personal Accident space.Competitive annual salary on offer - Claims Consultants will commence on a $75,000 base; Senior Claims Consultants will commence on $90,000 + super.If you are a resilient and dedicated professional with a passion for managing personal accident claims, we would love to hear from you.
