Job Title: Family Time Worker
About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to support children and families in their communities.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team and contribute to building a dedicated workforce for supervising family time.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support family time visits between children and young people in out-of-home care and their families.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of children during these visits, providing support as needed.
* Communicate effectively with children, young people, and families in a culturally sensitive manner.
* Transport children and young people to various locations, including family time visits.
* Record observations and prepare documentation following supervised visits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
* Support administrative tasks to contribute to efficient team operations and service delivery.

* Cultural Understanding: Demonstrated understanding and respect for cultural differences.
* Organisational Skills: Strong skills in documentation and administrative tasks, with experience using relevant technology.
* Resilience and Adaptability: Ability to manage stress-related behaviour and navigate complex family dynamics.
Essential Requirements:
* Current NSW driver's licence.
* Working with Children Check clearance.
* First aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one before commencing in role.
* Availability for some evening and weekend work.
