About the Role
The Senior Electrical Electronics Engineer is responsible for undertaking and/or supporting the development, integration, and testing of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), military off-the-shelf (MOTS), and/or custom electrical/electronic systems.
This role contributes to and/or guides a small team to complete allocated work packages in line with schedule and cost constraints.
Responsibilities:
* Development, integration, and testing of COTS, MOTS, and/or custom electrical/electronic systems;
* Leading a small team to complete work packages within schedule and cost constraints.
Requirements:
* Substantial experience in electrical/electronic engineering and related technologies;
* Qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in a related discipline;
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Ability to work autonomously and contribute in a professional team environment;
* Well-developed problem-solving skills, including providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity;
* Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent activities, understanding and managing priorities, dependencies, and risks;
* Strong conceptual and analytical skills with strong attention to detail;
* Australian Government Security Clearance NV1 (Australian Citizenship required).
