As Aerodrome Information & Flight Procedure Specialist you will provide specialist technical, operational and tactical analysis and operational management functions within the Aerodrome Information & Flight Procedures department. This role is responsible for both administrative, operational and regulatory tasks of the Aerodrome Information & Flight Procedures section to deliver operational safety and efficiency, maximum productivity and service standards.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills & experience:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Flight Operations environment (preferred)
* In-depth knowledge of CASA MOS Part 139, ICAO PANS OPS Doc 8168, CASA MOS Part 173 and ICAO Instrument Flight Procedure construction techniques and ARINC 424 coding preferred
* In-depth knowledge of Aeronautical Information Services, Air Traffic Management, State Regulatory bodies (CASA) resources & processes, & ICAO Annexes & support Manuals (preferred)
* Holds or have held a commercial pilots’ licence or equivalent aviation experience
* Holds or eligible to hold ICAO Doc 8168 Vol 2 (PANS OPS) procedure design qualification
* Appropriate levels of knowledge and/or experience in IFR Flight Procedure design, flight planning, Navigation database maintenance, or Flight Dispatch
* Sound knowledge of airspace and air routes, flight planning systems as well as on-board Navigation computer capabilities, and airport design criteria
* Detailed knowledge of Company route structure
* High level of IT acumen including standard MS Office applications standard desktop office automation software applications and company specific systems
* Ability to undertake specialist aeronautical training as required
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to adhere to very strict deadlines
