Girdlers Deewhy is looking for full time Chefs to lead our kitchen and to represent a committed team of professionals. Key responsibilities:
* Menu development
* Ensuring every dish meets the quality standards prescribed by the company.
* Training of all kitchen staff to ensure exceptional food handling practices in adherence to
* food safety guidelines.
* Leading the kitchen operation in every aspect in order to meet all the targets such as food
* cost, LC, waste control.
* To create and manage systems that will always maintain high levels of hygiene practices in
* the kitchen.
* Monitoring all kitchen staff performance and provide feedback regularly to ensure all
* kitchen roles are being adhered to at a high standard.
* To follow the correct procedures behind Stock receiving, storing and subsequent Stock
* Monitoring par levels of produce to minimise waste and operational issues
* To handle produce in the designated organised manner.
* To maintain the condition and cleanliness of all the equipment.
* Liaising with other departments during service in a professional manner to facilitate a high level of customer service.
* To perform daily, weekly and monthly stocktake as required
* The training and management of all kitchen staff on Work Health and Safety practices, injury risk identification and prevention, occupational safety procedures, the correct use of protective equipment, first aid equipment and procedures and fire procedures.
* Assist with the recruitment of kitchen staff.
* Comply with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
* Relevant Diploma Qualification
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
* Great communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time management skills Lead by example Bring a can-do attitude to work every day.

Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $80,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week (full-time position).
