Position: Marketing Manager

Our client is seeking a full-time Marketing Manager to join their organisation. As a senior marketing professional, you will have a hands-on, collaborative role in working closely with their UK based Marketing and Sales managers to develop, implement, and execute local strategic marketing plans that align with our company objectives. This will involve leveraging both online and offline channels to deliver scheduled sales and marketing campaigns that generate new sales leads and partner opportunities.
You will play a crucial role in maximizing our brand exposure through well-executed content and digital marketing efforts while leveraging existing and new online platforms to promote our offering across multiple states to multiple stakeholders.
Your ability to provide fresh insights and ideas to support our high-performing sales and marketing team will be pivotal, as we look to continue expanding our market share and solidifying our position as a leading player in the region.
As a Marketing Manager within this team, your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and mentoring our team of marketing professionals, setting performance objectives through assessments, and nurturing talent to foster professional development
* Management and responsibility of direct reports, setting KPI’s through performance appraisals and nurturing talent to ensure career development.
* Creating and implementing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies and plans, both in the short and long term, to optimise the sales across our product lines.
* Organisation, attendance, and promotion of various networking events, conferences, and on-site client visits.
* Tracking, analysing and reporting to the senior leadership team the success of sales and marketing efforts, identifying closed sales opportunities and their impact on revenue generation and marketing return on investment. This includes recording of marketing budget and reporting on Return on Investment (ROI).
* Developing marketing and sales strategies that enhance brand visibility, create a competitive edge, and drive sustained, profitable growth.
* Executing effective pricing strategies and marketing campaigns to drive sales growth and expand market presence in targeted regions.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
* Formulate and implement strategies to foster and maintain a positive reputation and public perception of an organisation among customers and the wider education sector.
* Lead the execution of sales strategies and goals to drive sales and enhance customer loyalty for an organisation and reinforcing brand image and loyalty.
* Managing the content strategy, calendar and creation of required communications, including the upkeep of the company localized website and landing pages.
* Creating and managing an integrated digital marketing and social media strategy, including the analysis of data and online systems.
* Managing the design, copy writing, proofing, production and distribution of all marketing materials and merchandise.
* Keeping up-to-date with educational, market and competitor developments to influence content marketing campaigns and community engagement.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in marketing, business administration, or a related field is preferred
* Over 10 years' experience in a B2B marketing role in SaaS
* Minimum of 5 years in a senior marketing team leader role
* Experience of the education market
* Proficient with HubSpot and Salesforce
* Strong budget-management skills and proficiency
* Strong project management skills
* Strong analytical skills to forecast and identify data trends and report writing
* Self-motivated team player who has fresh ideas when it comes to generating new leads and increasing market share
* Experienced understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to work under pressure.
