Our menu features daily specials and caters to both children and adults.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Full-Time Permanent Chef De Partie to join our team at Steeples in Mornington.Key Responsibilities:Maintain control and leadership in the kitchen during service times in allocated sections.Assist with the induction of new employees when required.Maintain professional relationships with external suppliers.Prepare and cook menu items as per cooking guidelines and set standards.Work in conjunction with the head chef to develop and implement a menu.Ensure all staff follow safety procedures.Requirements:Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).Food Handlers Certificate.Experience working in a pub/bistro fast-paced environment.Well-versed in all kitchen areas with hands-on experience.Ability to follow and give directions when required.Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Full working rights in Australia.What We Offer:Ongoing learning & development opportunities.Access to our year-round well-being initiatives.Free onsite parking.Paid Volunteer and Parental Leave.Pegasus Leisure Group values and embraces diversity and inclusion and we encourage all applicants to apply.
