Who We Are: Bradken is equipping the resource sector to sustainably advance society.As Project Coordinator you'll be joining a global leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of wear products and services for mining equipment.Our 3000-strong global team members are proud of the innovative solutions we provide our customers and our commitment to being carbon neutral by 2030.You'll join a diverse and inclusive team contributing across more than 100 unique professions and trades.What's the Role: You will ensure the cost-effective and efficient performance of DUA plate manufacturing operations and other workshop projects; it is essential to adhere to current standards and procedures.You will have excellent relationships with both internal and external customers, managing personnel, production, and projects to meet customer requirements and financial targets in line with Bradken policies.Your key responsibilities include producing and managing DUA plate, B.T.O, and workshop projects to Bradken and customer standards, coordinating the delivery of all materials and services, and developing comprehensive job reports for project completion.You will close and invoice all projects upon completion, maintain registers for project and material traceability, and plan monthly production forecasts based on customer requirements.You will work on projects that must be stringently monitored to ensure all costs are accounted for, and ethical dealings with suppliers and customers are maintained.Regular attendance at management and production meetings is necessary to plan weekly labour needs for DUA plate, B.T.O, and workshop projects.You will support the manufacturing tradespeople in the DUA plate and B.T.O workshop team by providing necessary instruction, training, and resources.Additionally, you will maintain resource plans to ensure project manning levels align with production demands.Planning and executing all work safely is a priority.You will also ensure timely weekly and monthly reporting to the Workshop Manager.Key Technical Criteria: Experience in the steel industry, preferably in Mining Equipment repairs.Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings.Leadership qualities, responsible and an ability to create a team environment to motivate and encourage.Knowledge of manufacturing processes.Understanding of the relevant industrial relations, environmental, and OH&S requirements necessary for a facility/unit.Knowledge of the manufacturing processes and quality control of Dua-plate & B.T.O processes.The role is based on-site at Mt Thorley. This is a fixed-term opportunity to cover parental leave.
