The Role
Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Systems Division are seeking exceptional APS 6 Logistics Officers to join our dynamic team. As an APS 6 Logistics Officer, working within the GWEO Systems Division you will be given the unique opportunity to collaborate within a diverse team to deliver Australian Defence Force systems that are at the leading edge of Defence Capability. Every day will be different as you embrace opportunities to:
1. Identify and develop the Operational Concept and Logistics Support Concepts for Explosive Ordnance systems.
2. Develop and implement Integrated Logistics Support Plans for acquiring and introducing Explosive Ordnance into service.
3. Undertaking product management to support Explosive Ordnance systems throughout their service and for disposal.
4. Think strategically to develop, implement and manage improvements to Integrated Logistics Support processes within the work area.
5. Collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Note: This position will be required to access US export controlled materiel and therefore applicants will be requested to disclose any dual citizenship with another country during the recruitment process. Dual citizens may be subject to further assessment and appointment to this position will be conditional upon approval to access US controlled export material in accordance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Guided Weapons & Explosive Ordnance Systems Division is an integral of the Guided Weapons & Explosive Ordnance Group. Our team is made up of various disciplines (including engineering, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services). We are located in ACT, NSW, VIC and QLD and our focus is to acquire and sustain guided weapons and munitions for the Australian Defence Force.
