Full time, continuing role Opportunity to utilise your high quality, efficient administrative support experience Base Salary $99,455 to $107,216 17% About the opportunity The Senior Administration Officer manages general administrative support including preparing documents, responding to complex queries, exploring matters, and sourcing solutions for the work area. The incumbent may be required to provide guidance and support to more junior administrative staff, utilising their extensive administrative experience and judgement, helping to analyse matters and provide advice on policy and procedures for the delivery of work outcomes. Your key responsibilities will be to: manage the delivery of daily administration activities and services for the Division of the Academic Registrar, providing guidance to colleagues on the ongoing activities of the office, ensuring high quality, efficient administrative support is provided in a pro-active manner to staff, students, clients and visitors manage record keeping, finance/accounting support and reporting for the work area asset management for the portfolio coordinate meetings and events and provide logistical support maintain detailed knowledge of services offered to students by relevant units within the University and direct students to these services as appropriate coordinate staffing related matters, in partnership with HR, including the coordination of recruitment and onboarding of new staff handle requests and maintenance for building facilities, stationery, and kitchen supplies across the portfolio, ensuring timely resolution of issues and smooth operational support for staff and visitors review and refine administrative processes, implement approved modifications, and participate in the development and execution of strategic and operational plans to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. About you tertiary qualifications in business administration and/or equivalent relevant experience in business administration working knowledge of software programs such as Hyperion Reporting System, Fraedom, Records Management, and Content Management Systems experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service experience with payment and invoice management, purchasing and travel coordination strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and ability to prioritise workload during busy periods.
