As our highly valued Product Manager – Home Loans, you will play a vital role in delivering the Bank’s strategy and purpose of helping all Australians own their home.The Product Manager, Home Loans, supports the Senior Manager, Home Loans in managing the overall strategy, product life cycle and development, financial metrics, risk elements, and vendor relationships for all existing and any future Home Loans products.Specifically, your role will be supporting the Home Loan Product team with optimising the design, pricing, marketing, sales, operational processes and risk settings for our suite of home loan products to deliver customer-centric solutions that align to the Bank’s strategy and add value to our customers’ financial positions.The Home Loans team sits within the Product team, under the Customer Office. The Product Manager reports into the Senior Manager and the Home Loans product team collaborates cross-functionally with other divisions of Great Southern Bank to deliver performance outcomes, manage risk, and improve the customer experience.The role may be based in Brisbane or Sydney and is a hybrid environment role with a minimum 60% office based working expectation (e.g. 3/5 days a week in office).You’ll make an impact by:Working closely with the Customer Experience, Digital, Marketing and Credit Risk teams to develop customer focused products, propositions and credit policies.Collaborating with distribution and retention teams to ensure disciplined margin management to achieve growth and profitability objectives.Managing pricing requests via the Pricing Inbox to ensure we balance growth and revenue outcomes both from an acquisition and retention perspective.Reviewing existing products and play a key role in customer value/change initiatives to deliver enhancements to the Bank’s Home Loan suite to ensure optimal value to customers.Managing all risks, incidents, issues and controls associated with our products and processes.To succeed in this role, you will have:5+ years’ experience in a Banking, Home Loans or Product Management Role (preferred).Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Economics or Finance demonstrated experience in these areas are preferred.Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and across different audiences.Research and analytical skills with the ability to manipulate, interpret and draw conclusions from complex sets of data.Why Great Southern Bank?Whatever your role with us, you’ll be part of a force for good.
