THE ROLE...
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading, providing support, direction and inspiration to the Team Members in your store. You will also be in charge of training on customer service excellence, communicating the company strategies and objectives, as well as guidance and coaching around personal development, merchandising and store operating standards.
Responsibilities include:
4. Setting and implementing sales initiatives
5. Ensure Sales and Margin targets are met and exceeded
6. Complying with all Work, Health and Safety Policies, Procedures and activities, and actively promoting and leading a safe work place
7. Manage stock levels, Inventory movement & loss prevention
8. Manage Team performance, development and engagement
9. Conduct small and large orders for both residential and trade clients; in-store, via email and over the phone
10. Training, mentoring and coaching Team Members on providing exceptional product knowledge and ongoing sales development

To be successful in this role you will possess:
11. Previous experience as a Store Manager
12. Industry-related experience (flooring, hardware, building, bathroom ware or similar) will be highly regarded
13. Business development experience
14. Strong retail, sales and service skills
15. Proven ability to achieve and exceed team sales targets
16. Superior communication skills at all levels with the ability to engage others.
17. Strong leadership and coaching abilities
18. Relentless focus on growth, performance, and accountability
