The Role
The Assistant Store Manager supports the store manager in daily operations, working closely with the team and interacting with customers to provide excellent service.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the store manager in day-to-day operations.
* Coach and develop the store team to ensure capability and retention.
* Maintain a strong team culture aligned with Barbeques Galore's vision, mission, and values.
* Monitor targets and individual performance, identifying knowledge and skill gaps.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a retail management environment.
* Takes initiative and operates with a high degree of autonomy.
* Strong selling and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and organisation.
