Connect Resources is a specialist blue-collar civil construction labour hire company with a strong presence in QLD, NSW, and WA. We partner with some of Australia’s leading construction companies, supplying skilled labour to major infrastructure and civil projects.
As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and driven Group Sales Manager to lead our business development efforts, manage key client relationships, and drive growth across our operating states.
This role will be based in Brisbane but will require regular interstate travel to WA and NSW to strengthen client relationships and ensure business objectives are met.
Opportunity:
As the Group Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and overseeing the strategic sales function for the Connect Resources entities. You will work closely with our leadership team to develop and execute a sales strategy that expands our market share, strengthens client partnerships, and enhances our brand reputation in the industry.
This is a senior role, requiring a proven background in sales leadership within labour hire, recruitment, or civil construction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a national sales strategy to drive business growth across QLD, NSW, and WA.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors, and project stakeholders.
3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, tendering for large-scale civil construction projects.
4. Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing sales team.
5. Work closely with operations to ensure seamless service delivery and workforce planning.
6. Regularly travel to WA and NSW to meet clients, oversee projects, and grow market presence.
7. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform business strategy.
About you:
1. Proven experience in a senior sales or business development role within labour hire, recruitment, or civil construction.
2. A strong network within the civil construction industry is preferred.
3. Ability to develop and execute sales strategies to secure large-scale contracts.
4. Experience managing client relationships at a senior level, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
5. Willingness and ability to travel interstate regularly.
6. Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
