It is one of Victoria's most popular river tourism destinations and is on the doorstep of the Hattah Lakes National Park and the Sunset and Little Desert National Parks.You are creative, highly organised and able to find great rural stories from our community to share for radio, digital, TV and social media and will love coming to work and connecting with our diverse audience across North West Victoria.The JobReporting to the Editor, ABC Wimmera & Mildura Swan Hill, you will be responsible for;Creating engaging rural and primary industry news and features across multiple platforms for a diverse local, state and national audience.Preparing and presenting stories for the Rural Report and Country Hour, plus other key programs including ABC's 7pm bulletin and News Channel.Researching and writing rural stories for Web & App to engage broad audiences across farming, industry and consumers.Contributing new ideas to increase audience reach and engagement.About YouYou are creative, highly organised and able to find great rural stories from our community to share for digital, radio, TV and social media and will love coming to work and connecting with our diverse audience across North West Victoria.You'll love nothing more than jumping in the car and hitting the road in Victoria's Mallee.
Chatting to farmers will come naturally, and you'll have a curiosity about how they produce top-quality food for Australian and international markets.We are looking for a dynamic Rural Reporter with experience telling audio, video and written stories.
