12 Month Contract + 2 X 12 Month Extension TSPV Clearance Required Canberra only, no remote options Our Client, a large Federal Government Department located in Canberra is seeking an experienced Enterprise Cloud Architect to join their long-term program of work. As the Enterprise Cloud Architect, you will be working in a multi-disciplinary Product team using agile delivery methodologies providing technical leadership, architecture guidance, and strategic direction to support the organisation's cloud adoption goals.
Key responsibilities may include: Develop and implement cloud architecture outcomes from a central architecture team ensuring a strategic approach to our investment in cloud technology and the cohesive delivery of cloud products and services. Ensure cloud-based technical solutions align with our enterprise architecture and are consistent with future technologies roadmaps and our planned transition to cloud. Build partnerships and collaborate across technology delivery programs with internal business and IT stakeholders, strategic industry partners and external agencies. Assist workload teams with cloud onboarding ensuring they have necessary resources, tools, and knowledge to successfully migrate to the cloud. Desirable Qualifications: Professional AWS cloud certification(s); Experience with cloud cost optimisation tools and techniques; Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices. Required Knowledge: Demonstrated 7+ years of hands-on work experience in a system/platform technical design, software development or system/platform administration field. Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud architectures, preferably in a large enterprise environment. Experience with cloud migration, cloud security and compliance. Outstanding verbal/written communication abilities, including communicating technical/architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency in analysing business and technical requirements to provide strategic guidance and support decision making. Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering multiple lines of tasking in a resource-constrained environment. How To Apply:
