Queensland Fire and Emergency Services is an emergency service agency responsible for ensuring the safety of people and property across Queensland. Comprising the Fire and Rescue Service, the Rural Fire Service, and the State Emergency Service, QFES supports other volunteer groups providing emergency response to Queenslanders.

As an auxiliary firefighter, your key accountabilities will include responding to fire and other emergency incidents, promoting community safety and emergency preparedness, and developing and maintaining competencies through regular drills and training courses.
