Our Live-in Care is dedicated to offering individualised low-level care solutions, designed to cater to the daily requirements of our clients, ensuring their continued independence and dignity within their cherished homes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tailored in-home support for our clients' residing independently in the community.
2. Offer supports such as meal preparation, shopping, housekeeping, laundry, ironing, bed making, companionship, pet care, transport to appointments, social outings, mobility assistance, running errands, showering, and assistance with dressing.
3. Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients at all times.
4. Foster meaningful connections and provide emotional support to enhance well-being.
5. Ensure adherence to care plans and documentation of all client interactions and observations.
6. Provide compassionate and personalised care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.
Requirements:
1. Experience in providing live-in care preferred.
2. Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
3. Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage time and tasks.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation preferred.
6. Qualifications in Aged Care/Disability/Individual Support/Nursing.
7. Current First Aid & CPR certifications.
8. NDIS Worker Screening Check or the eagerness to obtain one.
Work Schedule:
1. Suitable DCS (Direct Care Staff) will be rostered on alternating schedules, working 3 days on and 4 days off, with each block spanning 7 days within a 14-day block.
2. Carers will be scheduled for 8 hours of active care within a 24-hour period, with a loaded rate to cover 16 hours of inactive care. Carers must remain present in the client's home for peace of mind, day and night.
3. Additional hours beyond the 8-hour active care period will be paid at the hourly rate.
4. In the event of a client's deteriorating condition necessitating additional care hours, a reassessment will be conducted to ensure ongoing eligibility for continued low-care support and care services.
