Seven Migration Pty Ltd on behalf of Powerhouse Logistics – Banksmeadow NSWPowerhouse Logistics represents a network of logistics companies working over 250 offices in 60 countries providing freight, customs brokerage, supply chain management and transportation, warehousing and distribution solutions worldwide.We are looking for a Process Optimisation Engineer to join our team!In this role, your focus will be on optimizing and improving the efficiency of logistical processes.This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Banksmeadow, NSW.Main Tasks:Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing supply chain processes and logistics operations by identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions, including but not limited to transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.Design and implement process optimisation strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time and improve workflow outcomes.Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Procurement and Account Development to systematically engineer, distribute and maintain simplified and tailored standard operating procedures (SOPs) with work instructions, driving operational excellence.Monitor and analyse process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield and scrap rate to develop strategies in order to meet or exceed targets.Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent, measured and timely work flow outcomes.Develop and implement new strategies and procedures to streamline logistics operations and enhance productivity.Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures.Provide training and guidance to teams on new processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.Remain current with the latest advancements in process engineering technologies, methodologies and best practices to optimise e-commerce trading with a focus on (AI) artificial intelligence and electronic marketing strategies such as 'google ad-words'.Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:Engineering bachelor's degree (Industrial, Statistical, Mechanical, or similar).At least 3 years of relevant experience.Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:Strong knowledge of process optimisation techniques with a focus on critical and analytical thinking.Proficient in process analysis, process modelling, statistical analysis and simulation software.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.Flexibility with some travel within Australia required.Previous experience with an ERP system and familiarity with Quality Management Systems.Familiarity with Cragowise.We acknowledge and appreciate the values of equal employment opportunity and cultural diversity within the workplace.However, Australian citizens and permanent residents will be afforded priority in the selection process.Annual salary will be between $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent #J-18808-Ljbffr
