Client
A new ICG Client, in the Retail Banking Sector, based in Sydney and Melbourne has commenced a cost optimisation program, initially focusing on Procurement.
Role
The Analyst will be working with a Partner, and two other Analysts on confirming initial opportunities in procurement and sizing the most material opportunities. This will then progress to defining, scoping and completing a detailed workplan and steps required for 2-3 major initiatives that the Analyst will be accountable for delivering.
Successful candidates will have the following experience:
* Experience with a Big 4 consulting firm or equivalent industry experience
* A detailed understanding of the Retail Banking sector in Australia
* Experience in procurement in major organisations
* The ability to analyse procurement arrangements and negotiate with 3rd parties to optimise the client's cost position
* Strong spoken and written communication skills (particularly PowerPoint)
* The ability to synthesise complex and disparate information into insights and recommended actions
The analyst will be responsible for:
* Confirming and sizing cost opportunities in the procurement area
* Developing detailed definition, scope and implementation plans for a number of those opportunities
* Working with the client to deliver the cost savings identified

Rates: Gross daily rate is $1,500
