Job Description Reporting to the Vice President – Procurement, this role will support a dynamic work environment with tasks including various activities related to procurement, category & contract management, commercial acumen and stakeholder management. Key tasks and responsibilities: Develop and embed procurement category management capability and setting standards for influencing results through changed behaviours and a high level of procurement service delivery. Developing category Plans, contract management and understanding of supply contract legal terms. Competent in building strong supplier relationships. Ability to solve problems, engage, and build rapport, demonstrate an ease and enjoyment in negotiation and influencing. Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement. Demonstrate good communicative skills in explaining the business challenge and the strategy under development and encouraging skill in project management. Create work plans and schedules to be executed, accounting for business unit requirements, procurement processes, and the degree of workload intensity require.
