Our client specialises in providing high-quality maintenance and electrical services to the mining industry. Established in 2014, the company has built a strong reputation for its expertise in managing complex projects, such as dragline, shovel, and Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) shutdowns and maintenance. They are currently looking for shutdown Boilermakers to join their team.
Your new role
* Working on CHPPs and draglines
* Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Performing routine maintenance and inspections
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
* Maintaining a tidy and safe environment
What you'll need to succeed
* Trade Qualified - Boilermaker
* Experience working on CHPPs or draglines
* Driver's licence and reliable transport
* Ability to complete a police check
* Ability to pass a D&A screen
* Living locally in the Mackay region
* Contactable references
What you'll get in return
If successful, you will join our esteemed client in a site-based role, handling ad-hoc shifts and minor projects. During your time on site, all meals and accommodation will be provided. This position offers the opportunity to work across various locations throughout the Bowen Basin.
