You will develop and promote the school's vision for academic success and encourage school staff, volunteers, and community members to share ownership of the school's vision and goals.The position would be suited to a dynamic and innovative educational leader who will continue to grow the College's unique and contemporary approach to education.
It is an ideal opportunity for an aspiring Head of Learning Area or Level 3 Classroom Teacher who demonstrates flexibility, well-developed problem solving, communication and decision-making skills.
Within this role there will be a requirement to undertake a teaching load (0.4 to 0.6), in addition to working alongside the College Leadership and Executive Teams, to coordinate whole school activities and events.
Whilst the primary responsibilities of the position are articulated below, it is expected that the successful applicant will engage with the broader community, working with parents, families, and businesses, and play an ambassadorial role as a senior representative of Cape Naturaliste College.Duties may include (but not limited to): Coordination of NAPLAN and OLNA TestingRoster Coordination (eg: Duty, Exams)Coordination and running of whole school and year assemblies as requiredCoordination of whole school events and ceremoniesCoordination and management of the Student Leadership TeamRepresentation at community based events (eg: ANZAC Service)Establish and maintain whole College administration systems such as Compass and Reporting to Parents Using your effective interpersonal skills and leadership strategies, you will lead the school community to identify opportunities and develop improved operations and procedures that support the strategic goals and priorities of our College.
You will facilitate workforce effectiveness and provide a role model for self-development to improve professional performance.
Additionally, you will contribute to the development of the school plan through participative decision-making, including developing policy and establishing and maintaining systems.As the Program Coordinator, you will manage programs, specific priority areas, and general school administration, including the management of school timetable processes.
