Aged Care Direct Support Worker - Byron Bay and Ballina

We are in need of Direct Support Workers to work with our Aged Care Clients in Ballina to Byron Bay, Pottsville, Ocean Shores, Lismore and surrounding suburbs.
We are looking for flexible, experienced, adaptable, and creative team members to join our team with a range of shifts the client needs for assistance.
As a Direct Support Worker, you’ll be an integral part of the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds. You will assist with:
* Providing support on matters of personal care, including showering, toileting, dressing and more
* Administering medications
* Some manual handling and general assistance with mobility
* Domestic duties including cleaning, laundry or meal preparation
* Community engagement, such as attending doctors appointments, grocery shopping or other social or recreational activities of their choice

Before you commence, you will need:
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates
* Driver's License and Car (Comprehensive Car Insurance)
* A Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly the Police Check)
* Commitment to infection prevention and control measures including the use of PPE as directed
* A smartphone with an iOS 13.0 and up operating system or an Android 6.0 and up operating system
