Industrial institution operating nationally with over 7000 employees has a great opportunity for a progressive Buyer Catalogue Administrator.In this key role, you will oversee the setup, maintenance and operational efficiency of the procurement catalogue within our purchasing systems.Duties of the position include: Manage and maintain procurement catalogues for products and services.Set up and configure the purchasing catalogue according to organisational needs, including product categories, descriptions, suppliers, and pricing.Ensure timely and accurate data entry including product descriptions, pricing, and supplier details are up to date in the catalogue.Regularly update catalogues to reflect changes in supplier terms, availability, price, new product lines or contractual agreements.Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.Work closely with suppliers to ensure product data, pricing, and availability are correctly reflected in the catalogue.Key Attributes: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field.2+ years in procurement, preferably with experience in catalogue-based purchasing systems.Proven experience in manufacturing or distribution purchasing and procurement, including budget management.Proficiency with procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa), Excel for data analysis.Workflow Automation: Understanding of how to use workflow automation to improve approvals and procurement workflow.Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights.Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers effectively.Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in purchasing orders and catalogue information.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with suppliers and internal teams.You will enjoy being part of an industry leading business that has a reputation for investing in their people and rewarding successful contributions with career progression.#J-18808-Ljbffr
