Support the Heart of Stanbroke's Livestock Operations as a part-time Livestock Officer. The Role: Based at our Gatton location, the Livestock Officer is a pivotal part of our Livestock team, providing essential support to cattle buyers, stockmen, and the Livestock Supply Chain Coordinator. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organisational skills, and a knack for problem-solving. As a part-time Livestock Officer, you'll engage with every aspect of the livestock supply chain, from data collation at our processing facilities and feedlot to delivering critical vendor performance insights to our valued producers.
Your Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cattle buyers, stockmen, and the Livestock Supply Chain Coordinator to ensure seamless livestock operations.Manage and organise livestock administration tasks with precision and efficiency.Collate and analyse data from processing facilities and the feedlot to generate vendor performance reports.Provide accurate and timely feedback to producers, fostering strong relationships and continuous improvement.Assist in resolving operational challenges with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.Who We Are Looking For: You have experience in livestock administration, or a related field is desirable.You have a background in agriculture or beef production is advantageous.You have proficiency in data collation and reporting is a plus.You have exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.You have strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.You have effective communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.You can work both independently and collaboratively within a team.You have the flexibility to work 30 hours per week, spread across Monday to Friday.What We Offer: Part-time role – 30 hours a week with some flexibility required.A dynamic role at the core of Stanbroke's livestock operations.Opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.A supportive and collaborative team environment.Competitive remuneration and benefits, including exclusive discounts on our premium beef products.Ready to Join Us?
