WorkPac are seeking a skilled Regulatory Analyst to join our client at their Keswick Office.

About the role
The successful candidate will support the regulatory operations team by coordinating the implementation of the Australian Energy Regulators new Regulatory Information Order reporting obligations for SA Power Networks. This requires collection of data from a wide range of sources across the business. You will work across the business to ensure all areas understand their reporting obligations and the necessary data for the 2024/25 financial year is available for reporting to the Australian Energy Regulator.
Key Responsibilities
* Gain understanding of new reporting requirements, including comparison to existing reports
* Develop gap analysis of changes
* Map historical data elements (where unchanged) through to new data elements.
* Develop implementation plan, monitor and report on progress
* Facilitate internal meetings with business to manage changes, including sending invitations, setting agenda and recording actions and minutes
* Track actions and follow up with business representatives to ensure progress
* Coordination with IT systems provider to ensure changes are implemented as expected
* Other ad hoc tasks as may be required
Skills and Experience Required:
* Experience with Business Analysis and or Project Management is required
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Current C Class Drivers License.
* Degree in commercial discipline (accounting or economics) or information technology.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Teams)
* Significant experience in working in a complex business environment
* Highly developed communication skills
* Well developed analytical and conceptual problem-solving abilities
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and in a team environment
