Clyde Creek North Primary School (interim name) will open day one of Term 1 in 2026 and help the growing local population get a great education close to home. The school will: Be able to enrol up to 715 students, including a Supported Inclusion School annexe for up to 65 students with disabilities. Open for enrolments for students in Prep to Grade 6. Be a supported inclusion school. The Principal of Clyde Creek North Primary School will have leadership qualities to ensure effective operation upon commencement, with responsibilities including: Work collaboratively as part of a Planning Group and consult with the community to make key decisions for the establishment of the new school. Develop a culture of excellence and inclusion within the educational rationale. Design a framework for pedagogical approaches that maximises opportunities presented by the inclusive learning spaces. Design a school curriculum and structures supporting the school's vision and values. Develop an understanding of the design intent of the new school facilities. Create an identity for the school including logo and uniform. Select and employ staff to ensure the vision of excellence and inclusion is achieved. Provide support for staff to implement the school's vision. Engage with the local community to establish the school as a community hub. Develop a strategic approach to professional learning of staff. Establish relationships with other school Principals. Make reasonable adjustments as requested by students under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992. Collaborate with the Department to select furniture and equipment that supports the school's vision for learning. Establish financial and IT systems in accordance with requirements.
