The position…
You will be required to perform a variety of tasks both at our yard/factory and on site to facilitate the manufacture, delivery and installation of our products for both the residential and commercial sector. Tasks may include but are not limited to:
* Supporting logistics - Loading, Pick & Pack project product & materials at our factory & yards
* Driving GCMarine's Prime Mover with semi-trailer, locally within SEQ and from time to time further afield including long haul interstate trips
* Driving GCMarine's smaller trucks and utes when required
* Operation of GCMarine's 25t Franna within SEQ
* Assisting with installation of marine projects
* Supporting our Marine manufacturing and waterside operations utilising GCMarine's in-house Plant and Equipment to complement our already strong future projects backlog.
This position is for a keen, self-motivated, qualified, organised person with the added bonus of working on or near the water with some interstate trips a requirement.
This position offers a 4-day, 38 hr work week with the possibility of overtime as required.
* From time to time - Drive and maintain our Western Star Prime Mover & other smaller trucks (this is a requirement)
* From time to time - Operate our 25t Franna (this is a requirement)
* From time to time - Perform Dogman duties for crane operations (if qualified)
* Operate other Plant and Equipment such as an excavator (if qualified)
* Operate all within strict workplace health and safety guidelines
* Liaise with GCMarine management, suppliers and sub-contractors to coordinate onsite activities.
You will have or be…
* Previous experience in logistics
* At least 2 years previous experience in crane operations
* Self-motivated with an excellent interpersonal and professional skillset
* Confidence and good communication to deal face to face with business decision makers, vendors, and clients at large
* All current licences to operate said trucks, vehicles, plant & equipment
* Current forklift licence would also be an advantage but not a requirement
