Located on the Camperdown Campus at the School of ChemistryOpportunity to make valuable contributions to research in synthetic and medicinal chemistryBase Salary (Level B) $122,830 - $145,858 p.a. + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityThe School of Chemistry is seeking Lecturer (Synthetic and Medicinal Chemistry) to undertake cutting-edge research in the areas of organic, biological, and medicinal chemistry and to support the research program of our Head of School Professor Peter Rutledge.You will be part of a multidisciplinary team spanning synthetic and medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, and protein biochemistry.Your key responsibilities will be to:perform high-quality research in the areas of synthetic and medicinal chemistrytrain and support undergraduate and PhD research students in the labprepare results and data for publication, assist with paper writing and publishing original workdevelop your research profile through presenting at conferences and seminarsenhance a positive workplace culture and strategic direction of the School and University.The School of Chemistry at the University of Sydney is a leading Chemistry department in the country, with outstanding staff and students undertaking world-leading teaching and research.
