The Loan Markets & Execution team is responsible for supporting our bankers with deal structuring, documentation and execution of complex bilateral and club transactions. In this strategic role you will primarily be focused on working with Relationship Directors across the Emerging Corporates business to effectively execute loans for our customers across industries. The role will assist in the preparation and negotiation of term sheets and be part of deal team negotiation of facility documentation to successfully execute high-quality loans. The role will also proactively support the deal team with the identification and management of financial, non-financial and reputational risks to the bank and work to minimise execution errors. This will involve working closely with our portfolio management, credit, product, internal and external legal, and external banks to deliver exceptional customer service. What's in it for me? We are looking for a seasoned Loan Markets and Execution banker and/or lawyer (banking and finance) with experience structuring lending and security structures in the mid-market corporate segment. You will be comfortable providing deal execution support to the business, including term sheet and facility agreement negotiation across bilateral and club deal facilities. Strong credit and negotiation skills across industries is essential, with an understanding of APLMA loan documentation and legal concepts. Undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Accounting and Finance or Law is highly advantageous. You'll be a strong communicator, able to engage and build genuine relationships with our senior bankers and stakeholders, a team player and a decisive thinker. A natural people person, your proven knowledge across bilateral and club facility structures, debt products and facility operations will ensure your success. You will work collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for the bank and our customers.
