Salary: Teacher, $85,610 - $124,046 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023)

We're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic English teacher to join our friendly team. Your dedication and expertise will be key in helping students excel in the challenging field of English.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate flexibility, collaborative spirit, and a commitment to fostering strong relationships within the school community. They should also bring professional expertise to deliver an engaging English Curriculum tailored to student needs and interests, emphasising critical content through a fine-grained program. Experience in extending students through our Academic Extension program is a plus.
This position requires the ability to leverage data for curriculum differentiation and to introduce innovative strategies for improving outcomes across all performance levels. Building positive relationships, focusing on student strengths, and channelling a passion for education towards guiding students to their future pathways are key aspects of this role.
The successful applicant will work across Year 7 to Year 12, according to college needs, and bring their expertise to the English Learning Area, ideally applying their knowledge of English Courses and experience in teaching Senior School Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) English.
The successful applicant should be committed to whole college approaches and initiatives and have a strong evidence-based approach to teaching. Adopting inclusive practices and building positive relationships with students, staff, and the community are important components of the role.
