designed to give you an idea of the role you will play.There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.Contributing to and managing a team of Electrical Engineers to deliver Electrical products and services Ownership of Electrical engineering designs, processes and activities To undertake accountability as a Responsible Engineer for Electrical units/subsystems Ability to fulfill the role of Technical Authority on behalf of the Chief Engineer, as requested Leading technical assessments, including: concept studies, trade studies, analysis of COTS solutions and estimates for Research and Development Adhering to and leading product development engineering processes involving: requirements definition, preliminary / detailed design, review, procurement / manufacture, assembly, integration, verification / validation and operations Supporting Electrical unit and integration testing and operations (may include travel to remote sites) Overseeing and sign-off of engineering designs, processes and activities Overseeing investigations, troubleshooting, modifications and fixes / repairs Leading architecture development, technology strategy and execution of the Electrical team Leading the budget, programmatic and people management of the Electrical team Leading Electrical engineering production activities associated with the Launch Vehicle product lines Demonstrating desirable role model traits for junior engineers to look up to Coordinating with the Mechanical, Propulsion and Production engineering departments Leading engagement with the Satellite, Launch Site and Defence programs, as well as external suppliers, subcontractors and stakeholders Support forecasting and programmatic allocation of resources across work packages Ensuring that engineering activities are conducted and documented in accordance with Gilmour Space policies, plans and procedures Other duties as requested by Management Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, or a relevant qualification 5+ years of experience in professional Electrical design engineering settings (excluding internships) 3+ years of end-to-end Electrical product development experience In-depth understanding of Systems Engineering practises NV1 Security Clearance eligible Maintains or is eligible for CPENG and RPEQ Proven ability to operate in dynamic, fast paced environments Demonstrated resilience in high stress situations Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience We recognise understanding of pressure, temperature and flow measurement instrumentation Experience leading a team of Engineers Ability to work efficiently in a team environment with a desire and willingness to
